Mods are developed simply and plainly to enhance the entertainment of a game. Mod developers saw the game of minecraft as an amazing opportunity to start creating something unique. A game of its simplicity still had so much potential unfulfilled. However, the developers of minecraft are restricted to what features they can actually implement into the game because of its strict theme setting. Often the updates will bring unique and incredibly fun features; however they will often be thrown aside by easily bored players/users, and will soon begin awaiting an even better update feature. Often when implementing different features, all with their own individual purposes. Sometimes these mods significantly different; it can be hard for the mod developer to continuously develop and update all the features of the mod. However, with the Flans mod for minecraft, the mod developer has taken this thought deep into consideration and has simply taken a few of his “previously” created mods; and implemented them into somewhat, people may call a “mod pack”.

In the process of combining all of these mods into one, the creator has definitely made sure that they all fit together well; and to some extent, work well together as an individual mod; rather than a group, messily assorted together. When installed; this mod works to implement superbly created vehicles, weaponry and aircraft too. Even so, often mods introduce their own theme; so when creating this unique mod, it has been built around a certain time setting. Hence time setting is set around the WW2 stage. For this reason and this reason only; is the reason that all of the contained mods work so efficiently together.
Crafting aeroplanes obviously takes a lot of work and time in which the player will use to find all the necessities to begin the construction process. The Flans mod grants the players, of whom have installed the mod; the ability to not only explore the vastness of the skies; but also travel the land also, much faster and so much more efficiently. Though, this mod has not, or was not designed for travelling purposes. Said mod was developed around the idea in which players would enjoy the spectacular, amazing dynamics of the mod itself. Controlling an vehicle, with this mod not only take away the restriction of riding a pig, or a one way minecart; but let them freely control the speed, height, and direction instead.

When using this amazing, unique mod. Just be sure to take the simple precautions. Getting lost is often very easy to do when soaring high above the clouds, and weaponry can often damage structures or player made buildings. In saying this, I simply suggest that the user/player should use common sense when using this particular mod. No-one but the player will take blame for destroyed buildings, or corrupting your world. Though, most players should, or would most likely be able to control themselves when using this mod.
The mod itself changes a few of the vanilla controls, so it is recommended that you read this paragraph before installing the mod. Some of the vehicle controls have overwritten the default controls for things such as inventory opening controls. To exit and enter a vehicle, stand near it and look at it, before pressing the “E” key. (Configurable in the next mod update). And use the “R” key to open the inventory. When in a vehicle, such as an aeroplane use your “LEFT CTRL” key to activate the machine guns, “v” to drop bombs from the aircraft.
How to install the Flans Mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, 1.7.2 and 1.6.4
- Download and install Minecraft Forge for minecraft 1.7.10, 1.7.2 and 1.6.4
- Download the Flans mod for minecraft 1.7.10, 1.7.2 and 1.6.4
- Browse to %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft and open your “mods” folder. (create one if non-existant)
- Drag the entire downloaded mod file into your “mods” folder, DO NOT UNZIP/UNPACK.
- Finished.
